The Best Quilt That Has Ever Existed

I can't remember the last time I made a quilt that was strictly for me.  Not a project meant to document a trip, or a quilt for a gift, or a quilt meant to fit within a particular room of the house.  I am not actually sure I ever have made such a quilt.  This is my weird way of explaining why I love this quilt so much.

I picked fabrics just because I liked them.

I picked a pattern I had been wanting to do for a long time, the churn dash.

I quilted and bound it however I felt like at the time.

I am pretty sure it is my favorite quilt I have ever made. Not the most impressive, or the most complex, or the most striking.

Just my favorite.
