Happy 70th, Rick!

We've been a little light on the blog posting lately. This summer, we've been focusing much of our energy on this:

But we did manage to leave the couch behind for a lovely trip to Chicago this past weekend. We did a little Chicago-y stuff.

And we went out to Beverly Shores, IN for Rick's 70th birthday gala! We thought it might be a beach day, so we packed our swimsuits and such.

But it turned out pretty chilly, so only a few brave souls ventured into the water.
