Drunky Kitty

You guys, I've been eyeing this Hipster Cat Quilt Pattern from Shwin and Shwin for just ever.  I had a couple of free days recently and I just had to go for it.

The pattern pieces for this quilt were huge-mongous.

Ugh. Those glasses.

So cute.

Here's my kitty cat face in the works. I went with different sized eyes because when my brother was little, he used to draw a character he named Sargent Drunky and Sargent Drunky always had two different sized eyes. This one's for you, Evan!

I used tons of pretty colored threads when it came time to appliqué and quilt.

This isn't its forever home, but I stuck it up on the wall one day on a whim until I can make something more permanent for my office.
