You've probably seen us working hard on our yard lately. Our garden is finally starting to bear fruit, so to speak!
We have sweet little bush beans:
Tomatoes that can no longer be described as little:
And we have enjoyed our lettuces so far:
Not to mention our herbs (which used to be tiny!) Then:
Now:
I'd say they've grown just about as much as Norman has!

Indoor Camping
Sometimes we go a little crazy around here. Like that time we made the blanket fort, you know? Well, little did you know that we also like indoor camping!
Eddy read to me a bit.
Also, he did this other thing:
Then me and the boys watched some movies.
The tent is no longer in our living room, but it will always be in our hearts. Indoor camping!

Herbs from DP^2
DP^2 are leaving us. Isn't that sad!
They are moving halfway across the country to sunny San Diego and we will miss them lots. The good news is that we inherited their cute herb and veggie garden!
Everyone has been comfortably relocated for maximum herbage.

Bad Dog Parents
So, remember all of those nice and cute things we always do with our beloved Norman? Well, lately we were sort of bad dog parents.
You see, Norman likes to play under the house. And by "play" we mean "be totally nuts." Eddy had been bugging me to block it off so that he can't get under there anymore, but I had been dragging my feet. The other night, Eddy called me to the back door saying Norman scratched himself. Well, he's a pretty rough and tumble little guy, so I was expecting the same little scratches he always comes in with. This time not so much.
Believe it or not he was actually bloodier after we gave him a bath. Ever wonder how hard it is to hold a 40Lb dog down so you can clean his ear and apply pressure? Just ask us sometime over some drinks.
Needless to say, he is no longer allowed under the house.

No Swimming
Eddy recently planned a sweet little road trip for us to Lake Houston because he is nice. Apparently, you are not allowed to swim there.
Also, there are gators but we didn't get a picture of the sign because some weird old dude was staring at us. While we were there we ate a whole big, elaborate picnic lunch from our new favorite place in the world Phonecia Market.
But we definitely did not feed any of our Phoenicia meal to you know who.
But don't worry. He was pretty freakin' happy to go on a trip.
Remember, no swimming.

The Little Chinatown
So Eddy and I are planning a trip to Beijing this summer. I am calling it "the big Chinatown." As you may know, we (I?) have a penchant for Chinatowns, so we wanted to refresh our memory about the goodness of "the little Chinatown" in the HOU.
We found some bags of fish there.
Also, I think I might replace my office phone with this paper version. I would probably answer it just about as much.
